BUSY P WHAT THE FUCK?!?

Probably the greatest music manager on the planet and the mastermind behind the biggest international record company Ed Banger Records, Busy P (aka Pedro Winter) is living the life. If your DJ then you must look up to him, I mean throughtout P's lifetime he's managed both Daft Punk and Justice, my top 2 in my top 5 favorite international DJ's and my gods in which I worship. Oh yahh and homegirl Uffie is his daughter. If you like Hip-Hop than this track is for you.

Hard Summer Music Festival

It's that time again for Destructo to work his magic at my favorite music festivals of all time: Hard Fest. (I'd prefer Hard events over any rave any day cause Destructo always get DJ's that I don't only like but LOVE) And like me and all the people that went to last year's Hard Summer Fest and witnessed what a complete fail it was because of the asshole fire marshall said there was too many heads. (I mean seriously to today, I have still never seen such a more epic setlist in my life. If that shit was to really crack last year it would of been a night to remember for the rest everyone's life that went. And if you have no idea what i'm talking about then check the setlist and watch videos on youtube.com it'll give you the whole story) Speaking of last years Hard Summer, the best part of that night was I got to meet "face to face" with my niggah Busy P. I've never met an international DJ before until that night and boy what is it everything I dreamed of, Pedro was juss walking down the hall with no one chasing him when we said hi (the weird thing was that no one noticed it was Busy P walking eating a hotdog till I screamed out "BUSY P, WTF!!!") That niggah has a heavy-ass french accent. The only thing that popped in my head to say when I was looking Mr. Winter in the face was "Say vassup to Daft Punk for me" (I was mega shocked and rolling so I couldn't really think of what else to say, my friend has the picture we took with him, but some raver fool made it look all blurry. I'll get it and post it so yall niggahs believe me) But yahhh, the only artists that got to play that night were Busy P, Crystal Castles, 12th Planet, and Jack Beats (which I fucking missed because they weren't letting anymore people into the underground stage where those fools were throwing it down) Meeting Pedro Winter was the only highlight of the night, i'm praying that this year won't have the same fate (But luckily for us it's no longer being hosted at the Forum but at the Los Angeles State Historic Park). To my viewers: See you there!

I Think I Love Fake Blood

Awww look how cute this picture is of Fake Blood and Little Boots, Fake Blood to me in my book is within competion with Yuksek for Number 5 in my favorite international DJ's, I mean his originals and remixes are sooooo good, and to think that he started his DJ career as Fake Blood was just to see if people would like his style of "Fake Bloody" music and whooooo do we like it. Finally Fake Blood showed his face after years of a mysterious appearence until 2007 (I know, how late am I?) When he showed his fans what he really looks like. Look here its right on this video.

Invaders Must Die!!!

Seriously i guess The Prodigy doesn't like being invaded cause me and Shanester fucking agree that this song and all its remixes are fucking bangin. Like I would seriously recommend every version of this song to download, not to populate our blog, but just for the vibes it gives, and you know where all about Good Vibes. But my favorite is the Yuksek one, and if you have read the older posts you know that i'm in love with Yuksek. <3 you boo! haha.

Digitalism - Pogo (Shinichi Osawa Remix)

Designer Drugs Drop Down Official Music Video

Designer Drugs finally released their first music video finally, to be honest I have no idea what its point is in the video but I do like the way it was made. And ofcourse the song itself is fucking bangin. It took me like three days to figure out how to post this video on the blog and not just the link.

Search Boris?

Hmmm Boris Dlugosch, see no link to his name, cause I can't find this nigga anywhere on myspace. Watch go to myspace.com search for his name under music and Basement Jaxx will come up. WTF? I thought maybe he had something to do with Basement Jaxx but nope, nothing, 10min of looking in Wikipedia for some connection but nope, nothing. Hopefully someone can explain to me why..

Boris Dlugosch - Bangkok
Daft Punk - Digital Love (Boris Dlugosch Remix) [removed by request]
Boys Noize - Sweet Light (Boris Dlugosch Remix)
and a bonus:
Afrojack - Bangduck (Bangkok Cover)

New Riots Remix

Does anyone remember when LA Riots were like MIA for a couple months? Then outta nowhere their new remixes started popping up everywhere on blog sites. Well I just got their new remix of Stafford Brothers' "Spearker Freakers" and it's quite bangin'.

CAUTION! WARNING! DANGER!

You know, I look around this blog and i've notice theres not enough Danger, I need to change that. Here's my favorite Danger songs and all there intensity. Love his outfit, the whole full body black spandex outfit like Daft Punk's and the two white circles, looks good with leather jackets haha.

NRG 04/10/10

NRG is tonite, with big headliners like 12th Planet, Kry-Lon, SonicC, Steed Lord, and Drop the fucking Lime! Unfortunatly for me, I'm not going tonite, niggas be broke. But if you are going, you have a guaranteed epic night. I've seen 12th Planet already at last year's Hard Summer (and if you went you know how that ended) and he threw it down, but I have yet to see Drop the Lime, but it will happen, one day.

Oldies but Goodies pt. 1

No need for a whole paragraph, the title speaks for itself. I just wanted to say how different Congorock looks without his beard.

The Bloody Beetroots - Anacletus
Designer Drugs - Back Up In This
Felix Cartal - Drone
FUKKK OFFF - More Than Friends (Congorock Remix)
Autoerotique - Gladiator (Steve Aoki & DJ AM Remix)
Fake Blood - Mars (Jack Beats Remix)
The Hives - Main Offender (Mustard Pimp Remix)
The Kills - Cheap and Cheerful (SebastiAn Remix) [removed by request]
Daft Punk - Crescendolls

That's Alot of Paranthesis

Mightyfools back again with a Tommie Sunshine song featuring OH SNAP!! hmmm thats a name I haven't heard in awhile. Well its called 5AM (A Girl Like You) and it's not bad I thought so mind as well share it. In the Treasure Fingers remix of Plus Size Model during the build up, I love how he uses the sound clip from Cross the Dancefloor in it and goes so well together.

and this one too just cause it reminded me:
and another for old time sake:
Treasure Fingers - Cross the Dancefloor

Supa Dupa Dada Life

Dan Black made a song called Symphonies, then he re-made it featuring Kid Cudi. He even had a music video for it originally then he re-made the music video too with Cudi in it ha, Good song by the way. Then Dada Life remixed it and whooo it is a banger. Stefan Engblom does that face in all his pictures hahah.

and a bonus:

I Am Not Techno

Boys Noize came out with a new album called "Power" but i've only heard one song from it. If its just as good as Nott then I might actually have to buy this album. I mean look how epic that picture looks! I have the song but until I get the Album your just gonna have to deal with the Promotional Version of Nott and The Subs Edit of it, which isn't bad at all.

Boys Noize - Nott (promo)
and a bonus:
Boys Noize - Nott (The Subs Vital Edit)

Watch Your Dubstep

I used to not be a fan of the semi-new genre of what is known as Dubstep, well I just call it the Dub haha. The biggest names in Dubstep right now are probably Skream, Caspa, Rusko, and 12th Planet. Maybe more but like I said i'm barely getting into Dub. But yeah since i'm now a fan why not post the songs that got me into the Dub so that some other Dub haters may change their ways.

YUCK-SICK!

Number five in my Top 5 favorite International Superstar DeeJays, Yuksek. His sound is just so good, and I admirably respect any DJ that can mix and use his own live vocals at the same time and still tear up the dancefloor. His album "Away from the Sea" was realeased with his single Extraball featuring Amanda Blank, and every person that has remixed it has succesfully made it a new masterpiece. But above all I prefer the Burns one, i mean god dayumm that bass drop, its soooo Justicey.

and a little bonus:

Afrojack and The Partysquad

Afrojack, quite the DJ, lately most of his new songs all have the same sound clips from Pon De Floor, or How I like It which he made with Diplo before Major Lazer called it Pon De Floor, like his song Amsterdamn that he did with the Partysquad, but this isn't the first time they've worked together, they also did a song called Check Die Beat which is nowhere nearly as good as Amsterdamn, Do the comparison. But I still love afrojack all the same.

Wolfgang Does It Again

For everyone who has heard of Wolfgang Gartner and his legendary 5th Symphony and is still recovering from its disasterous effects, he's came out with another song thats just as bangin' and would I lie to you? Well just check it out for yourself.

In case you haven't heard:
and a bonus:

Poney Poney to Jamaica

Geeez Jamaica what a band and only two guys too. I first listened to them like a month ago to a song called Cross the Fader and I was blown away. I now listen to it every chance I get. Today I found out quite a bit about this group: it seems that their first album is produced by Xavier de Rosnay from Justice and Daft Punk's sound engineer Peter Franco. I know, WOW. Check them out!

First Music Post Finally!

Finally got the Time to work on the site, still dont have a layout or header but were working on it. The first post is from two of my favorite DJ's Drop the Lime and Beataucue. Both excellent artists so ofcourse this would be quite the tune. It seems like it has the sound clip sounds like the Pon de Floor bassline. Enjoy :)
