The Best Music Video Ever I Swear

Duck Sauce would make the best music video ever. This video is pretty much A-Trak and Armand Van Helden running around NYC doing random things, featuring some random artists like: Questlove, Chromeo, DJ Mehdi, Travis Barker, Diplo jumping out a window, and others too. They even got Barbra Streisand herself to be in it.

Finally Back With Some New Tracks

Sorry about being MIA for awhile, and I've been missing out on letting you know on the new tracks and remixes for awhile. Well since I'm back let me start with the two most important out of all of them. Duck Sauce finally with a new track, which DJ's like Afrojack can't help but remix, but I prefer the OG outta all of them. And speaking of name's that I haven't heard in awhile: AutoErotique and SonicC, got together and made a track called KMA (stands for Kiss My Ass, I don't know why they don't just call it that) Well whatever it's called, it's a banger. It has the same build up sample from Afrojack's remix of "Cool." New post will be coming sooner. No, I haven't forgotten about the blog, and sorry for the lag.

Whoops My Bad

So i've come to realize that the other post yesterday, where I was talking about whether Masta Ace by Afrojack & Diplo was actually Monster by The Squatters, well it was. My bad everyone, I checked their discography and surely enough there it was. I guess these guys just have a strangely like sound to Afrojack and Diplo. Well here is my repost of the actual song name, sorry Squatters. Go see Squatters playing at  Nocturnal in just 3 days.

Some More New Beats

It seems like everyone that has been on this blog lately has been coming out with tracks lately and I keep saying "Finally new tracks from so and so." Because Jack Beats, the legendary Gods of Fidget, are back with a couple new tracks. I totally regret missing these guys at Hard Summer Fest a couple years back. Well I take it they're working on a new album.

The Best I've Seen In Awhile

Finally, it's been awhile since Felix Cartal has released something really good, and here it is. I'm probably not  the first blog you've seen with this song on it but get it now anyways incase you haven't, you won't regret.

New Drop Down Remix Finally Released

After months of searching the Savage Skulls remix of Designer Drugs "Drop Down" is finally out, and I think it totally blows the BeatauCue remix outta the water! It has alotta random samples in it like Beastie Boy's "Mmmmmmmm Drrrrrroooooooppppp!!!" But seriously the bass drop is not to be reckoned with, Check it.

Seriously this is Bothering Me

Okay all over blogs people can't seem to tell who made this new banger that has just came out, it's on Designer Drugs DATAMIX X. Some call it "Monster" by The Squatters, and others call it "Masta Ace" by Afrojack & Diplo, and to be honest, my money's on Afrojack & Diplo. I mean listen to it, the beat and bassdrop is totally from Afrojack, and after the beginning beat a sound in the background starts to come up and it sounds exactly like "Hey" from Diplo and Laidback Luke. I don't know, you be the judge. I'm not sure what to label it as so i'll put it as what I think it is.

Some More Jamaica

So that group Jamaica I was talking about when this blog first came out has a new song and video called "Short and Entertaining." Well it's about time they came out with something new. And here's the Breakbot remix of there other single.

DATAMIX X is here!

So Designer Drugs Datamix X has just been released and I wasted no time on getting it on my blog. I'm so excited for this new mix, I'm eager to hear what Mike and Theo have cooked up this time. I haven't even listened to all of it yet, that's how fast. The intro is so intense. It's All About Don Rimini

This month its All About Don Rimini, his new single "All About" is climbing the charts of the music blog world. In other words: It's a hit! I was supposed to post this awhile ago, but since to technical difficulties i'm barely getting it to you now, but the lag was worth it.

My New Favorite Deadmau5 Song

It's everyone's favorite deceased rodent, Deadmau5. His new song "Some Chords" has been out for awhile but I just needed to post it. It's so good, which is not what I can say about his other new song where he sings the vocals and plays the bass himself. I forgot what it's called but it is not any good at all.

Deadmau5 - Some Chords [removed by request]

Download Repost! 320kbps Version!

I posted not too long ago that Designer Drugs came out with 2 new remixes, well here's the 320 version of their Victims remix, the other one is not 320kbps so get this shit now.

Everything Cool

Okay, personally I'm not a fan of both the original of this song by Foamo or GTRONIC cause his remixes just, I don't know never catch my ear, and the original Everything Cool isn't all that great either. But I heard his remix on Drop the Lime's London Warehouse Mix, and it's pretty good. Check it.

Even More Bart B More

Only like 1 post ago i was talking about Bart B More and how he hasn't came out with much lately, well I guess I was kinda wrong because besides his new "Sex Sax" remix he also remixed a song by MC Flipside, and he was guy who brought lyrics to a great song by Deadmau5, "Hi Friend."

and in case you haven't heard:

New Noize

I haven't heard much from superstar DJ Boys Noize since his release of his new album "Power" and then he came out with a remix of N.E.R.D.'s Hot-N-Fun featuring Ms. Nelly Furtado. I wouldn't post this unless it was good so let's just leave the words outta this and just listen.

New Designer Remixes

Designer Drugs came out with a two dramatic, eye-rolling, pill popping, abort a baby, club bangers. Victims by Villains featuring Whiskey Pete first heard of their Datamix 06 and We Never Close our Eyes by Scanners first heard on their Datamix 08. Keep up the great tracks, remixes, and Datamixes Mike and Theo.

Villains feat. Whiskey Pete - Victims (Designer Drugs Remix)
Scanners - We Never Close Our Eyes (Designer Drugs Remix) (Mix Rip)

Tick Tock on the Clock

I usually don't post things about local DJ's but two masked gentlemen's remix caught my ear. The Mass Brothers have been making their way to several clubs in LA. Their like residents at Groove Thursdays amd Matinee now. Their remix of Tik Tok is not that bad at all, hence the reason of the post. Check it out and see these guys, if your in the LA area your bound to see them on party forwards and Myspace flyers.

SonicC's Remedy

Everyone's heard Little Boot's Remedy, but have you heard SonicC's remix of it? Probably it's been out for a short while but I just found it like not too long ago and it's my favorite remix of it. Style of Eye's not so much i'm sorry. But if you haven't heard get it here and now.

(and a bonus even though it has nothing to do with the post)

Amateur

I think everyone should see this video, its pure genious, Mr. Gjertsen your a genious. He made this video juss by video taping himself pressing notes on the piano and making every sound on the drum then chopped the video to make a song. He doesn't even know how to play said instruments. His youtube link is right hurr.

This Unique Shit

There is something to be compared with these artists: they all have sounds that make their tracks unique and great. Especially Udachi and Malente if you know these DJ's there great in their own way. They should really do a song together. Blatta & Inesha (picture above) have been doing songs with DJ's such as Mustard Pimp, Gigi Barocco, and 2 songs with Congorock. And lately they have been dishing out some great remixes.

and a bonus:
(this songs is kinda annoying in the beginning but the drop is worth it)

Don't Trip, It's Sawgooood... and Gigi Barocco

Gigi Barocco and Sawgood just made a new banger called Blowin' Up, and i'm not lying, this shit is a banger. Gigi really knows how to make his bass drop sound alike and sound clean even in his remixes. Ikki remixed it and if anyone knows Ikki he's the guy who seems like he's trying to bring back the sound of old Bloody Beetroots. Just listen to his remix of Gigi Barocco and these other songs i'll post just so you can see the major comparison.

(this one doesn't sound like old BB's but it's good anyways)

Snoooooop! Cudi!

A collaboration of Snoop Dogg and Kid Cudi, they made the song "That Tree" I know this song has been out for awhile but I barely started listening to it again, and it's not that good really, well I think, but I can't get over the chorus its soooo good, Nice one Cudi. Another reason why it might sound unlike the usual Snoop is because this track was produced by Diplo.

Take your Head Off

After the last post on DATAMIX 09 and listening through the whole thing, this one song caught my attention the most outta the songs i didn't know from the mixtape. This shit is crazy. I was never a big fan of Dirty Disco Youth until I heard this banger. Mustard Pimp remixed it but my thoughts are it's not as good as the original.

Dirty Disco Youth - Heads...Off
Dirty Disco Youth - Heads...Off (Mustard Pimp Remix)
and a bonus:
Deadmau5 - Ghost 'n' Stuff (Dirty Disco Youth Remix)

DATAMIX 09

Designer Drugs DATAMIX 09 already out, it only seems like a couple of weeks ago that DATAMIX 08 came out. Their dishing out mixtapes faster than you can listen to them. And its not only mixtapes that their making more of: it was also not too long ago that they made their first music video for "Drop Down" and now they just released a new music video for one of their songs, "Zombies" and they also added lyrics to the song which was something I was not aware of. It's now featuring some french lyrics from Kiddy Smile.

Drop De Floor!

Finally after hearing Drop the Lime's London Warehouse Mix, featuring his new remix of Pon De Floor which was exclusive, until today. The new remix beats every other remix of Pon De Floor and there is a cool number of remixes of that song including Laidback Luke, BeatauCue, and many others, one of them including Foamo's Remix of it which is still exclusive. Well here it is, download, enjoy, and support and Happy Cinco De Mayo!

Night 2 of Hard Bloody Beetroots New Setlist

Holy Shit! So it seems that Hard Bloody Beetroots has been seperated into 2 days and now the second day has Designer Drugs and Jokers of the Scene added to the setlist. This date is drawing extremely close so I need to get my tickets ASAP!

Tuesday, April 13, 2010

BUSY P WHAT THE FUCK?!?

Probably the greatest music manager on the planet and the mastermind behind the biggest international record company Ed Banger Records, Busy P (aka Pedro Winter) is living the life. If your DJ then you must look up to him, I mean throughtout P's lifetime he's managed both Daft Punk and Justice, my top 2 in my top 5 favorite international DJ's and my gods in which I worship. Oh yahh and homegirl Uffie is his daughter. If you like Hip-Hop than this track is for you.

Hard Summer Music Festival

It's that time again for Destructo to work his magic at my favorite music festivals of all time: Hard Fest. (I'd prefer Hard events over any rave any day cause Destructo always get DJ's that I don't only like but LOVE) And like me and all the people that went to last year's Hard Summer Fest and witnessed what a complete fail it was because of the asshole fire marshall said there was too many heads. (I mean seriously to today, I have still never seen such a more epic setlist in my life. If that shit was to really crack last year it would of been a night to remember for the rest everyone's life that went. And if you have no idea what i'm talking about then check the setlist and watch videos on youtube.com it'll give you the whole story) Speaking of last years Hard Summer, the best part of that night was I got to meet "face to face" with my niggah Busy P. I've never met an international DJ before until that night and boy what is it everything I dreamed of, Pedro was juss walking down the hall with no one chasing him when we said hi (the weird thing was that no one noticed it was Busy P walking eating a hotdog till I screamed out "BUSY P, WTF!!!") That niggah has a heavy-ass french accent. The only thing that popped in my head to say when I was looking Mr. Winter in the face was "Say vassup to Daft Punk for me" (I was mega shocked and rolling so I couldn't really think of what else to say, my friend has the picture we took with him, but some raver fool made it look all blurry. I'll get it and post it so yall niggahs believe me) But yahhh, the only artists that got to play that night were Busy P, Crystal Castles, 12th Planet, and Jack Beats (which I fucking missed because they weren't letting anymore people into the underground stage where those fools were throwing it down) Meeting Pedro Winter was the only highlight of the night, i'm praying that this year won't have the same fate (But luckily for us it's no longer being hosted at the Forum but at the Los Angeles State Historic Park). To my viewers: See you there!

I Think I Love Fake Blood

Awww look how cute this picture is of Fake Blood and Little Boots, Fake Blood to me in my book is within competion with Yuksek for Number 5 in my favorite international DJ's, I mean his originals and remixes are sooooo good, and to think that he started his DJ career as Fake Blood was just to see if people would like his style of "Fake Bloody" music and whooooo do we like it. Finally Fake Blood showed his face after years of a mysterious appearence until 2007 (I know, how late am I?) When he showed his fans what he really looks like. Look here its right on this video.

Invaders Must Die!!!

Seriously i guess The Prodigy doesn't like being invaded cause me and Shanester fucking agree that this song and all its remixes are fucking bangin. Like I would seriously recommend every version of this song to download, not to populate our blog, but just for the vibes it gives, and you know where all about Good Vibes. But my favorite is the Yuksek one, and if you have read the older posts you know that i'm in love with Yuksek. <3 you boo! haha.

Oldies but Goodies pt. 2

Round 2! I wish I could put more songs per "Oldies but Goodies" posts but I can only put so much labels on one post, and in the music blog world, labels are EVERYTHING!

Busy P - To Protect and Entertain (Crookers Remix)
Chuckie & Silvio Ecomo - Moombah (Afrojack Remix)
Digitalism - Pogo (Shinichi Osawa Remix)
Seductive - Underground Sound
Digital Manges - Manges (Sharkslayer Remix)
Bloody Beetroots - Verrà la Morte e Avrà i Tuoi Occhi

Designer Drugs Drop Down Official Music Video

Designer Drugs finally released their first music video finally, to be honest I have no idea what its point is in the video but I do like the way it was made. And ofcourse the song itself is fucking bangin. It took me like three days to figure out how to post this video on the blog and not just the link.

Search Boris?

Hmmm Boris Dlugosch, see no link to his name, cause I can't find this nigga anywhere on myspace. Watch go to myspace.com search for his name under music and Basement Jaxx will come up. WTF? I thought maybe he had something to do with Basement Jaxx but nope, nothing, 10min of looking in Wikipedia for some connection but nope, nothing. Hopefully someone can explain to me why..

Boris Dlugosch - Bangkok
Daft Punk - Digital Love (Boris Dlugosch Remix) [removed by request]
Boys Noize - Sweet Light (Boris Dlugosch Remix)
and a bonus:
Afrojack - Bangduck (Bangkok Cover)

New Riots Remix

Does anyone remember when LA Riots were like MIA for a couple months? Then outta nowhere their new remixes started popping up everywhere on blog sites. Well I just got their new remix of Stafford Brothers' "Spearker Freakers" and it's quite bangin'.

CAUTION! WARNING! DANGER!

You know, I look around this blog and i've notice theres not enough Danger, I need to change that. Here's my favorite Danger songs and all there intensity. Love his outfit, the whole full body black spandex outfit like Daft Punk's and the two white circles, looks good with leather jackets haha.

NRG 04/10/10

NRG is tonite, with big headliners like 12th Planet, Kry-Lon, SonicC, Steed Lord, and Drop the fucking Lime! Unfortunatly for me, I'm not going tonite, niggas be broke. But if you are going, you have a guaranteed epic night. I've seen 12th Planet already at last year's Hard Summer (and if you went you know how that ended) and he threw it down, but I have yet to see Drop the Lime, but it will happen, one day.

Oldies but Goodies pt. 1

No need for a whole paragraph, the title speaks for itself. I just wanted to say how different Congorock looks without his beard.

The Bloody Beetroots - Anacletus
Designer Drugs - Back Up In This
Felix Cartal - Drone
FUKKK OFFF - More Than Friends (Congorock Remix)
Autoerotique - Gladiator (Steve Aoki & DJ AM Remix)
Fake Blood - Mars (Jack Beats Remix)
The Hives - Main Offender (Mustard Pimp Remix)
The Kills - Cheap and Cheerful (SebastiAn Remix) [removed by request]
Daft Punk - Crescendolls

That's Alot of Paranthesis

Mightyfools back again with a Tommie Sunshine song featuring OH SNAP!! hmmm thats a name I haven't heard in awhile. Well its called 5AM (A Girl Like You) and it's not bad I thought so mind as well share it. In the Treasure Fingers remix of Plus Size Model during the build up, I love how he uses the sound clip from Cross the Dancefloor in it and goes so well together.

and this one too just cause it reminded me:
and another for old time sake:
Treasure Fingers - Cross the Dancefloor

Supa Dupa Dada Life

Dan Black made a song called Symphonies, then he re-made it featuring Kid Cudi. He even had a music video for it originally then he re-made the music video too with Cudi in it ha, Good song by the way. Then Dada Life remixed it and whooo it is a banger. Stefan Engblom does that face in all his pictures hahah.

and a bonus:

I Am Not Techno

Boys Noize came out with a new album called "Power" but i've only heard one song from it. If its just as good as Nott then I might actually have to buy this album. I mean look how epic that picture looks! I have the song but until I get the Album your just gonna have to deal with the Promotional Version of Nott and The Subs Edit of it, which isn't bad at all.

Boys Noize - Nott (promo)
and a bonus:
Boys Noize - Nott (The Subs Vital Edit)

Watch Your Dubstep

I used to not be a fan of the semi-new genre of what is known as Dubstep, well I just call it the Dub haha. The biggest names in Dubstep right now are probably Skream, Caspa, Rusko, and 12th Planet. Maybe more but like I said i'm barely getting into Dub. But yeah since i'm now a fan why not post the songs that got me into the Dub so that some other Dub haters may change their ways.

YUCK-SICK!

Number five in my Top 5 favorite International Superstar DeeJays, Yuksek. His sound is just so good, and I admirably respect any DJ that can mix and use his own live vocals at the same time and still tear up the dancefloor. His album "Away from the Sea" was realeased with his single Extraball featuring Amanda Blank, and every person that has remixed it has succesfully made it a new masterpiece. But above all I prefer the Burns one, i mean god dayumm that bass drop, its soooo Justicey.

and a little bonus:

Afrojack and The Partysquad

Afrojack, quite the DJ, lately most of his new songs all have the same sound clips from Pon De Floor, or How I like It which he made with Diplo before Major Lazer called it Pon De Floor, like his song Amsterdamn that he did with the Partysquad, but this isn't the first time they've worked together, they also did a song called Check Die Beat which is nowhere nearly as good as Amsterdamn, Do the comparison. But I still love afrojack all the same.

Wolfgang Does It Again

For everyone who has heard of Wolfgang Gartner and his legendary 5th Symphony and is still recovering from its disasterous effects, he's came out with another song thats just as bangin' and would I lie to you? Well just check it out for yourself.

In case you haven't heard:
and a bonus:

Poney Poney to Jamaica

Geeez Jamaica what a band and only two guys too. I first listened to them like a month ago to a song called Cross the Fader and I was blown away. I now listen to it every chance I get. Today I found out quite a bit about this group: it seems that their first album is produced by Xavier de Rosnay from Justice and Daft Punk's sound engineer Peter Franco. I know, WOW. Check them out!

First Music Post Finally!

Finally got the Time to work on the site, still dont have a layout or header but were working on it. The first post is from two of my favorite DJ's Drop the Lime and Beataucue. Both excellent artists so ofcourse this would be quite the tune. It seems like it has the sound clip sounds like the Pon de Floor bassline. Enjoy :)
